Not Much To Say Today

Haven't been getting many comments lately so I'm going to take a day or so off and let you all catch up. lol

There's also not really anything interesting to say. Robbie and I switched our power bill today...the bill was more than we thought...boy power is expensive. But we didn't have to pay a down payment like he thought...so we actually have like...$200 more than expected. Which feels good.

We're doing pretty well when it comes to saving money and not splurging. I think the thing we both want to splurge on MOST is food. Really good healthy groceries instead of the cheap yucky crap...or the simple joy of going out to eat. We had Mexican for lunch today...it felt really good. We always have so much fun going out to eat together. I'm not sure what it is about it...but it puts us both in a great mood and all we can do is laugh and have fun with each other. It's a good splurge I think...every once in a while at least...more so for the feeling and fun of it than the food. It's lucky that there's an excellent Mexican restaurant so close to us...because as I said to him...going out for Mexican to me is better than almost anything. All I really need is the cheese dip in the long run...but to me...cheese dip by itself is better than any kind of fancy restaurant food in my opinion...and it feels better to eat and is even cheaper than fast food. Plus it's fun, quick, easy, and comforting.

Yes...I could write a book about the joys of Mexican food...but I'll hush for now. lol.

Whatever the case, we're having fun, doing well, and livin' good.
